In preparing the parlor for a tea last Sunday, a binder was discovered in one of the tables. Engraved in gold on the dark green cover were the words, "TO HIS GLORY, CENTRAL PARK BAPTIST CHURCH." Inside the binder were cards naming items that were purchased for the parlor, persons donating the items, and the persons being honored or memorialized. (Cards were glued onto green pages and inserted into plastic sleeves. They were scanned that way in order not to damage the pages or cards.) (Remember each picture on the blog can be enlarged by clicking once on the picture. This will enable you to read each card or better view the pictures.)
