I stumbled across this site after driving by what was Central Park Baptist. It's in a part of town I do not usually frequent despite having spent my entire life in Birmingham. I greatly appreciate what the founders of this site have done, which has given me an insight into a rich history of a Birmingham I never knew existed. If the owners of the site are still out there, I would love to talk sometime about the history of Central Park Baptist and West Birmingham in general. Please leave a reply if possible.
In preparation for the 100th Anniversary next year, we want to share pictures and memories with as many former and present members of CPBC as we can. Hope you enjoy the photos.
